It wasn’t COVID that killed sports in America.
If you activate your critical thinking a little bit, you will understand why sport isn’t attractive for Americans anymore. It seems that the same reason stopped so many exciting things here, like watching the ghastly Hollywood awards shows.

Well, POLITICS!
While Trump was our President, liberals completely lost their minds, and everybody caught Stage 5 TDS. Numerous Trump haters shared so many negative comments about him, poisoning people with the politics’ negative side.
Since that moment, everything was politicized. Thus, the late-night shows and Hollywood Award Shows became an “activist telethon.” There we could see woke buffoons commiserating with one another, and the rest of us, sane, quickly turned the program.
Because of this content, the ratings of the channels crashed. But, it is the same situation with sports.
You can see what ESPN did. In the beginning, they were reporting on sports, but all of a sudden, they turned to report on politics.
Everything resulted in chaos, and we weren’t sure if we’re watching an NBA match or Don Lemon’s show. Very complicated!
The entire situation became very confusing, and many people got fired. They had to stop talking about politics if they wanted their viewers back.
Sports teams pulled all kinds of shenanigans. The players kneeled during the anthem. Also, they wore “Black Lives Matter” uniforms and shirts! Besides, they had huge BLM decals in the front of the courts and fields.
Due to all these events, Americans were furious and turned off their TVs.
However, the sports teams couldn’t admit the real reason people have stopped watching sports.
They said: “Noooo, it wasn’t the politics. People love it. Doesn’t everyone in the U.S. hate Trump???”
According to them, COVID is responsible, so people aren’t watching sports anymore.

As they say, if you need a break from politics, turn off sports.
The social justice warriors in the sports media claimed that fans didn’t mind the far-Left takeover of sports in the second half of 2020 — as expected, they lied. According to a new YouGov / Yahoo News poll, nearly half of America changed its sports viewing habits once political and social messaging spread across the leagues.
Because of aggressive woke messaging, three times as many Americans watched sports less than those who watched more, 34.5 percent to 11 percent. 56.3 percent say they watched about the same amount. Though not quite 50-50, the amount of those who changed habits was undoubtedly represented in total viewership declines.
Ratings across all major sports were down in 2020. The NBA, the most political among them, lost over half of its audience in the NBA Finals. A Finals that featured the NBA’s top individual and team draw, LeBron James and the Lakers. That’s not viewers watching less, that’s viewers watching none.
Keep in mind: these declines occurred during a pandemic, where far more Americans were home than normal. Daily work/school commutes were also slashed, allowing viewers to watch later into the night.
Furthermore, the players’ political and social stances were not moderate, but overwhelmingly echoed those on the (loud, angry, and far) Left. Because of the definitive slant, lost interest was disproportionate between political affiliations.
53 percent of Republicans said they watched sports less once social justice messaging became prominent. Only 19 percent of Democrats said the same; 14 percent of Democrats said they watched more.
Those ratios should surprise no one. Athletes told Democrats they had it right; athletes told Republicans they were racist.
What’s telling, though, is that nearly 40 percent of Independents chose to watch sports less for the same reason. The NBA players and many NFL players let Republicans know they were not wanted — but did LeBron James and Malcolm Jenkins foresee so many Independents turning away?
Some exclusions haven’t suffered from Stage 5 TDS!
We are numerous people who want our everyday lives back, regular TV! Trump should be back in the White House because liberal politics must stop!
Liberals and their supporters must learn how to keep politics out of sports and other things. Please leave the politics to the politicians. We want to enjoy the sports matches.
