“We Have a Duty to Fix This,” Mike Pompeo Says of The 2020 Election

Mike Pompeo, the former Secretary of State, made some big statements about the 2020 presidential race.

Pompeo, speaking on Real America’s Voice, said:

It is our responsibility to correct this.

Pompeo was, of course, referring to the election between Vice President Joe Biden and President Donald Trump.

Pompeo added, ”

I’m concerned about whether the votes were correctly counted.

Remember how silent Pompeo was in the aftermath of the presidential election?

He dismissed the notion that Biden had triumphed.

CNN even ran a story with the headline: Pompeo Refuses to Recognize Biden’s Victory in the Election

Pompeo’s fresh remarks should come as no surprise to anyone who has been paying attention.

Below are Pompeo’s exact words:

Pompeo’s remarks come as more states seek to emulate Arizona’s success.

In reality, the Republican Party of Pennsylvania is seeking to establish an election audit bureau.

According to the Hill,

Former President Trump and his supporters have planted questions about the integrity of last year’s elections, so Pennsylvania Republicans are proposing to create a new office to monitor election audits.

The California House of Representatives has adopted a budget that will provide the state auditor general an extra $3.1 million to establish a new Bureau of Election Audits.

State House Speaker Bryan Cutler (R) said in a statement introducing the plan that the new office will “unify” the state legislature.

Trump, on the other hand, has pressed Republican senators in Pennsylvania to perform a forensic audit similar to the one requested by Arizona’s Republican state legislature. He has regularly chastised Senate President Pro Tem Jake Corman (R), who has refused to order an audit, in statements.

Democrats in Pennsylvania say the new position is yet another way for state Republicans to cast doubt on the election’s legitimacy.

“This is just another attempt by our Republican majorities to sabotage the credibility of the 2020 election,” state Rep. Matt Bradford, the lead Democrat on the House Government Oversight Committee, said. “The Trump campaign appears to be bent to voter suppression.”

In December, Cutler was one of the top Pennsylvania Republicans who signed a letter requesting Congress to prevent the state’s presidential electors from voting.
The election audit office is not officially authorized in the House-passed budget, but the additional funds will allow Auditor General Tim DeFoor (R) to form one as he sees fit, according to a spokesperson for Cutler in an email. The state House is still debating two different legislation to define the office and give it authority to investigate elections, as well as to ensure that all Pennsylvania counties follow uniform election procedures.

President Trump resumed hosting large rallies as Pompeo made his dramatic address.

In fact, if nothing happens sooner, President Trump appears to have his sights set on 2024.

Trump proposed the notion in front of a gathering of 25,000 people, according to Reuters:

Former President Donald Trump slammed the Biden administration’s immigration policies during his first rally since leaving the White House on Saturday, hoping to re-energize Republicans to reclaim congressional majorities next year.

Trump, who appeared to enjoy being back in front of tens of thousands of fans, repeated his bogus assertion that his election loss in November 2020 was tainted by fraud.

When then-President-elect Joe Biden’s election was about to be validated by lawmakers, Trump departed office in the aftermath of a deadly Jan. 6 attack on the US Capitol by his followers, shortly after a rally in which he exhorted a crowd to “fight.”

Trump has maintained strong control over the Republican Party, in part by leaving open the question of whether he will compete for government again in 2024, after surviving a second impeachment on a charge related to the violence.

On Saturday, he dangled that potential in front of the fans.

“We won the election twice, and it’s probable we’ll need to win it again. He responded, “It’s conceivable.”

Trump defeated former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton in the 2016 presidential election.

At the rally, the former president focused on sections of his regular grievance list, with a special focus on the increased number of immigrants crossing the US-Mexico border, an issue that Republicans have used to rally their supporters.

“You are bringing millions of people into our country. We don’t know who they are. “Joe Biden is doing exactly what we did,” Trump stated.

It’ll only be a matter of time until the Arizona audit’s formal findings are made public.

It’ll only be a matter of time before other states decide to follow Arizona’s lead.

All we can do till then is wait and ensure that we assist President Trump in draining the swamp.

How?

By getting rid of RINOs, supporting forensic election audits, and keeping a watch on the Democrat party’s dirty activities.
