This week, “Godzilla vs. Kong” wasn’t the only giant lizard drama.
After going on a “King of the Monsters”-style rampage through a 7-Eleven in Bangkok, Thailand, a giant Asian water monitor frightened shoppers. Before it was deleted, the initial video tweet of the incident had nearly a million views.
The terrifying video, which has gone viral on Facebook, shows the monster reptile climbing a milk shelf, knocking off cartons, and shocking onlookers.
“The shelves are ruined!” exclaims the narrator. According to Everything, the reptilian intruder, which can grow up to 8 feet long and is the world’s second-largest lizard after the Komodo dragon, can be heard exclaiming, “Oh my God!”
The video ends with the water monitor sitting atop a shelf near the ceiling, with onlookers laughing in the background.
