In an explosive interview with Tucker Carlson on Monday, Piers Morgan slammed Meghan Markle. Morgan resigned from hosting “Good Morning Britain” a month ago after facing criticism for attacking Meghan for her interview with Oprah.
Morgan defended the royal family, chastising Meghan for her “appalling smearing of the Queen,” as he put it.

Meghan alleged bigotry from within the royal family during her interview, alleging that an unidentified senior royal questioned how dark her then-unborn son Archie’s skin would be. Harry would not name the member of his family, only stating that it was not Queen Elizabeth or Prince Philip.
Meghan has also said that she feels so alone as a royal that she contemplated suicide during her pregnancy.
Morgan, on the other hand, was not having it.
“You’re accusing people in the palace of being inexcusably cruel only to protect the Royal family’s name. If that’s the case, Morgan told Carlson on “Fox Nation,” “let’s get the names of these people and go to them and ask them if this is real.” “Did you ever tell a depressed woman who told you she was suicidal that she couldn’t get help? And it is hard for me to believe.”
“Here we are a month later, and frankly — and I’ve had plenty of time to think about this — I really don’t believe any of what they were saying,” Morgan continued, referring to Meghan and her husband Prince Harry.
He added, “Seventeen separate statements by the pair have now been proved to be either entirely untrue, grossly inflated, or unprovable.” “I’m not sure why I’m supposed to trust people who aren’t telling the truth. This interview contains so many ludicrous whoppers that, in the end, saying I believe her would be like saying I believe Pinocchio. “Why would I?” you may wonder.
Morgan didn’t stop there, accusing the “woke brigade” of attempting to prevent him from speaking his mind.
Morgan explained, “It’s not just about Meghan Markle — she’s a delusional duchess who wants to make millions off the royals while trashing family.” “It all boils down to free speech.”
Returning to Meghan, Morgan slammed her for implying that her son Archie was denied protection and a royal title because he is mixed-race.
Morgan said of this claim, “It’s not just a sense of her lived experience being untrue; it’s factually incorrect.”
“That boy will never be a prince until Prince Charles, Harry’s father, succeeds to the throne after the queen’s death. So it’s a lie for Meghan Markle to claim that the decision not to give Archie the title of prince was made because of his skin color.”
Morgan went on to say what he told his bosses at “Good Morning Britain” before leaving the show later in the interview.
“I’m not going to apologize for not trusting Meghan Markle on a fundamental principle,” he said.
