“Eatonville High School was found to be forcing athletic students to wear ankle monitoring bracelets, a parent has stated.”
“A 15-year-old girl sent her mother a text message from her public school volleyball practice to tell her that she was told to put on the monitor device. The mother, receiving no answer at the school via phone, showed up at practice to determine what was going on.
The coach, Gavin Kralik, told the mother that a meeting was held last week to discuss fitting unvaccinated students with ankle monitors for contact tracing purposes in case a student tested positive for COVID-19.
The device was identified as TraceTag, made by a company called Triax, and apparently, the purpose of the device is to provide “…a visual and audible alarm, so individuals know when to adjust their current distance to a proper social distance,” as well as a “Passive collection of worker interactions for contact tracing should an individual test positive.”

“Kralik told the mother that there are opt-out forms available. However, the back-to-school policies and information did not include any information on the monitors or the opt-out option. The school told the mother it was a “slip up” that she wasn’t previously provided with an opt-out form.
The mother elected to take her daughter home after the conversation with the coach and school staff, at which point she was told that her daughter needed to take the device off before leaving. The school would also not let the mother photograph the device on her daughter’s ankle, only while it was in the coach’s hand.”
can you believe where we are heading? I mean, how can this be allowed? Who supervised this? Who is the higher institution that would allow this? Where is the sanity?!
