Though he’s been popular for his pretty conservative statements during many interviews, lately, because of the liberal doctrine in Hollywood, he probably felt repressed and unable to make his true beliefs, political and career-oriented.

But here’s his truly “liberated” conservative voice – and it sends a message to all young people into the world, especially in America at the moment:

“Matthew McConaughey has announced he is “seriously considering” a run for Texas governor, a year before the state election. The actor revealed his intention on a recent episode of Crime Stoppers of Houston’s The Balanced Voice podcast on Wednesday. He told the host, Rania Mankarious, that running for governor was a “true consideration,” a report published in the Guardian states.

“I’m looking into now again, what is my leadership role?” McConaughey said. “Because I do think I have some things to teach and share, and what is my role? What’s my category in my next chapter of life that I’m going into?”

If he decides to take this step, he will face challenger Greg Abbott who’s up for re-election.

However, to this day it is still unfamiliar what his political affiliations are – Democrats or Republicans?

But, having this statement in mind, as well as his personality based on many interviews over the years, my personal opinion is that we have him on Trump’s side!
