According to the New York Post, Denmark’s top health official passed out during a press conference on Wednesday announcing the country’s decision to stop using the AstraZeneca vaccine.
According to BBC News, video from the briefing shows Tanja Erichsen, the head of Denmark’s Medicines Agency, standing in front of reporters before collapsing without notice.
Three men come to her rescue, one of whom attempts to lift her legs. Erichsen is seen being moved to her side by the others.
As a precaution, she was taken to the hospital and later recovered.
In light of recent ties to blood clots, the country became the first in Europe to fully withdraw the AstraZeneca vaccine.
In Denmark, two cases of blood clots have been identified, one of which was fatal and involved a 60-year-old woman.

It’s unclear what caused her to pass out, and after doing some testing, I’m not sure if she’s been vaccinated or not.
