[VIDEO] CNN Receives Bad Bad Karma During Brooklyn Center Riot

A bizarre scene unfolded in Brooklyn Center, Minnesota, which is still reeling from the accidental shooting death of Duante Wright.

Mr. Wright was pulled over for a traffic stop, and when he violently resisted arrest and fled the scene, lunging into his vehicle, an officer accidentally shot him with her pistol rather than her taser.

Mr. Wright was out on bail for an alleged armed robbery in which he choked a woman and held her at gunpoint, insisting she give her rent money to him, according to court documents.

The officer who shot Duante has been charged with manslaughter in the second degree.

The shooting sparked rioting and protests in Minneapolis’ Brooklyn Center neighborhood.

A member of a CNN camera crew was also assaulted yesterday outside a police station during a Black Lives Matter brawl.

Fearing for their lives, the crew was forced to flee the city.

On camera, a member of a CNN news crew is struck in the face with a water bottle and falls to the ground.

“Do we have a medic?” someone nearby can be heard asking. “Do we have a doctor?” “I’m fine,” the CNN crew member responded after a brief pause. It’s all a good bunch of people. There is no need to be concerned. “Everything is fine.”

“We’re leaving,” CNN reporter Miguel Marquez said, attempting to calm the crowd. We don’t want to get into any trouble.”
