It’s beginning to become clear why Team Biden is trying so hard to keep him out of the press.
In a recent video, Biden appears to have slithered his way over to reporters, and it was a complete disaster.

After being chastised for not having any Asian-Americans in his cabinet, Biden retorted that he has the most diverse cabinet and that Asian-Americans are present at “different levels.”

Biden’s assertion that he has Asian-Americans in his cabinet at “different levels” is a broad statement, and he was chastised in late January for not having any Asian-Americans at the top of his cabinet.
After the 2020 election, things were looking up for the rapidly expanding Asian American electorate.
The community’s voter turnout had been higher than it had ever been, and Joe Biden, the candidate most had backed, had won the presidency. Meanwhile, Biden’s vice president, Kamala Harris, is of South Asian descent.
So when Biden, whose Cabinet is shaping up to be the most diverse in US history, failed to name a single Cabinet secretary of Asian American or Pacific Islander descent, the backlash was fierce – exacerbated by a long-standing sense of being left out of federal decision-making. Until now, every president’s cabinet has included an Asian American since 2000.
Madalene Mielke, president and CEO of the Asian Pacific American Institute of Congressional Studies, described the situation as “insulting and tedious.” “Asian Americans vote in part because they want to elect people who can represent them. It stings because it seems that we are regressing.”
