The National Guard is currently in Minneapolis due to the massive riots that are taking place, over the death of Daunte Wright, who was shot and killed during a traffic stop.
Anyway, let me remind you of the case scenario.
Mr. Wright resisted arrest, got away from cops, and lunged into his car. The female officer who shot him wanted to use a teaser, but she used a gun if, by mistake, we still don’t know. Then, Mr. Wright drove away and died in his car, leaving his killer charged with 2nd Degree Manslaughter.
So, normally, as it is famous to riot lately, especially in these crazy quarantine times, the city is floated with protestors.
That, and the awaiting of the verdict in George Floyd’s case made it absolutely necessary for the Guard to be alarmed. But not many people were thrilled to see them.
