Trump canceled the Iran agreement that former President Barack Obama had signed during his tenure in office. Despite the reality that those in the Washington establishment were against him doing so, Trump made this move.
Trump said when he cancelled the deal in May of 2018, “The fact is that this was a horrible, one-sided deal that should never, ever have been made.” “It has not brought calm, it has not brought peace and it never will.”
In his Wednesday interview, Trump said he was saddened that, before Biden and the Democrats took power, he was not able to conclude difficult negotiations with Iran and China.

It’s such an embarrassment if we don’t get it. Trump said, “His family has been involved with the Chinese, for sure, a long time and a lot of money.”
This comes after the Biden administration announced that the U.S. would accept an invitation from the European Union to participate in the original Iran nuclear agreement’s meeting of participants.
The United States will consider an invitation from the High Representative of the European Union to attend the P5+1 and Iran meetings to discuss a diplomatic way forward with regard to Iran’s nuclear program.
One month before Biden took office, Iranian President Hassan Rouhani said that when it came to returning to the nuclear agreement, there was “no doubt” Biden would “bow” to Iran.
According to The Washington Post, “I have no doubt that Iran’s heroic national resistance will force the future US government to bow… and the sanctions will be broken,” Rouhani said.
