Trump Shocks Everyone With Major 2022 News

In surprise remarks delivered at Mar-a-Lago on Friday, former President Donald Trump teased that his daughter-in-law, Lara Trump, would run for the Senate seat being vacated by GOP Sen. Richard Burr of North Carolina.
According to Fox News, Trump shocked guests when, fresh off the golf course at nearby Trump International in West Palm Beach, he dropped in to speak to those in attendance at a dog charity fundraiser.

Trump admitted, “I didn’t exactly plan for this,” adding that he hadn’t expected to speak to a crowd.
“However, I was walking by and heard someone crying in the ballroom, so I asked what was up, and they said, ‘We’re trying to help dogs,’ which I accepted.”
“I want to express my gratitude to Lara, who has been absolutely incredible,” he said. “I’m not sure, are you running for Senate?”
The remark was greeted with thunderous applause. Since leaving office, Trump has made few public appearances and has used much of his latest public remarks to support candidates for the forthcoming 2022 midterm elections.
“Everything you’re doing is so vital and so wonderful, and I’m with you 100 percent, and we had several meetings in the White House and the Oval Office about saving and helping dogs, and that’s what we want to do,” Trump continued.
The Big Dog Ranch Rescue, according to Fox, was the beneficiary of the charity case, which aims to save dogs from the Chinese meat market. Although that is an admirable goal, the real story here is about Lara Trump.
There have been rumors that one of Trump’s children — or their spouses — would run for a seat in the House or Senate. In recent months, Ivanka Trump has been rumored to be exploring a run for the Senate in Florida, but she never committed to seeking a career as an elected official.
According to the New York Times, Ivanka Trump is exploring a primary challenge to Republican Senators Rick Scott and Marco Rubio in Florida. She reportedly decided against it in the end.
Numerous outlets and reports online have connected Lara Trump to Burr’s soon-to-be-vacated seat.
During the Democrats’ second partisan impeachment charade last month, Burr joined six other Republican senators in voting to convict Trump, blaming him for the Jan. 6 Capitol riot. Although the vote was insufficient to convict the former president, it demonstrated to Trump supporters in North Carolina that Burr was able to side with Pelosi rather than them.
“When this process began, I assumed that impeaching a president who was no longer in office was unconstitutional. In a statement defending his vote, Burr said, “I still believe that to be the case.” “However, the Senate is a precedent-based institution, and provided that the Senate majority voted to continue with this prosecution, the issue of constitutionality has now become proven precedent.”
According to The News & Observer in Raleigh, Burr had already declared that he would not seek re-election to a fourth term in the Senate. As a result, the seat is wide open.
If the former president’s remarks on Friday are any indication, Trump’s name could appear on the state’s ballot as early as next year. If Lara Trump were to race and win, she would be a significant improvement over Burr. Trump’s endorsements haven’t harmed candidates in recent years, and Lara Trump will almost certainly have his full support.
