Democrats and other globalists despise former President Donald Trump because he embodies the genuine American spirit of self-determination, unwavering optimism, and gritty resilience championed by the nation’s Founding Fathers.
Sergei Ivanov, a top adviser and former chief of staff to Russian President Vladimir Putin, believes this.

Ivanov blasted the globalists for attacking and obstructing Trump, whom he dubbed the modern-day George Washington, in a stinging EurAsia Daily Op-Ed on Feb. 16.
Even though race-baiting, revisionist leftists are now attacking America’s first president, he is widely regarded as the best.
Ivanov said that despite Trump’s many victories in office, he was attacked by his Democratic opponent and other globalists.
“Through Joe Biden’s voice, the American ‘deep state’ and, more generally, the international globalist ‘elite’ referred to Donald Trump as the ‘worst president in US history,’” the Russian wrote.
What is the reason for this? Since his triumphs shone a bright light on their own shortcomings, according to Ivanov.
“He, like Washington, is the flesh of his people, a classic self-made man, a living embodiment of the American dream,” Ivanov added. Trump is a great businessman, a doer, and a man of his word.”
He then went on to list Trump’s achievements as president, including:
Millions of new jobs will be created.
Unemployment among blacks and Hispanics is at an all-time low.
In the Middle East, there is peace.
Drawdowns of troops from America’s never-ending conflicts in Afghanistan and Iraq.
During his presidency, there were no new wars.
Ivanov pointed out that Trump accomplished all of this through constant media assaults and Democratic Party obstructionism.
“Almost immediately after Trump took office, ‘deep state’ functionaries from both parties — not only politicians and ‘public figures,’ but also civil servants — offered unparalleled opposition to all of his endeavors, did everything in their power to undermine America’s impulse for Freedom,” he wrote.
Despite his achievements, the deep state and globalists hated Trump, according to Ivanov, because he committed the modern-day crime of becoming a “rich white man.”
This, according to the Russian, must be rebuked in today’s warped “woke” worldview.
“Not only do they celebrate BLM, Antifa, and their ‘curators’ like [leftist financier George] Soros and [House Speaker Nancy] Pelosi, not only [German Chancellor Angela] Merkel and [French President Emmanuel] Macron, but also ‘anti-democratic’ regimes around the world, from China and North Korea to Venezuela and Cuba,” he wrote.
The deep state also despised Trump’s nationalist support for religious freedom, family values, and civil rights such as the First and Second Amendments, according to Ivanov.
Finally, he said, Trump irritated globalists because he thwarted their goal of establishing a “New World Order” that necessitates the abolition of Western civilization and the widespread eradication of Western values.
“The future will reveal whether the globalists are able to construct their ‘New Order’ and put an end to history, whether President Trump is its last hero,” Ivanov wrote.
“However, thanks to his historic win, anybody with ‘eyes’ can see where the ‘world elite’ is going and who it serves even now. “Look at your future and fight for it,” he advised.
Ivanov essentially expressed the feelings of millions of Trump supporters who find his unabashed patriotism and populist ideals refreshing and motivating.
Many people believed that the former president’s upbeat message about American exceptionalism filled a void left by the alarming spread of anti-American self-hatred promoted by the liberal media, Hollywood, academia, and our own political leaders.
Though Trump was not without faults (as we all are), he was not afraid to speak the facts, even if it meant provoking the left’s wrath.
If he remains in politics or not, his greatest accomplishment might be literally awakening Americans to the establishment media’s deception and the deep state’s dark and corrupt nature.
