Biden’s Secretary of State Antony Blinken told a House Foreign Affairs Committee hearing on the disastrous Afghanistan exit on Monday that any failures on their part were entirely due to Trump’s fault.
When he spoke in front of the Senate Foreign Relations Committee on Tuesday, he returned to the same issue.

And the Democrats who “questioned” him couldn’t stop talking about Trump and whining about what they “inherited” for the next two days.
Blinken claimed they were trapped with something Trump negotiated while also claiming there was no strategy left for the hapless Democrats to follow.
You can’t have your cake and eat it too.
Unless, of course, you’re a democrat.
So, according to Blinken, Biden’s problem was that his failed administration badly botched the Afghanistan exit.
“We inherited a deadline,” Blinken explained. “We didn’t inherit a strategy.”
That’s ridiculous.
We all know what would have happened if Trump had left a plan for the Afghanistan exit on Biden’s desk, complete with a roadmap, sketches, maps, and a step-by-step process.
From the economy to the border, Biden and the Democrats have stopped, ruined, reversed, and wrecked EVERYTHING Trump had put in place that was working.
They don’t give a damn about what Trump did or how he did it.
Especially if Trump’s actions were effective in making Democrats look bad.
Everything he came into contact with had to be destroyed. It affects the outcome of the election.
But, all of a sudden, the Biden administration is claiming that they were completely stuck with Trump’s Afghanistan arrangement. They suddenly didn’t have any other options.
That’s correct.
Trump, on the other hand, did leave a strategy. He negotiated a set of requirements for the Taliban to meet. It was based on CONDITIONS. Biden and his cohorts ignored it, just as they had missed Trump’s May deadline.
