Trump Just Attacked Mitch McConnell

The anger of the previous president of the USA, Donald Trump, reached its peak on Monday when he attacked the Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell, by calling him ‘’dour, sullen, and unsmiling political hack’’.

These two politicians, Trump and McConnell, have become unlikely allies while the administration of Trump, but it ended with the Capital riot, a terrifying event that happened last month.

McConnell let his wrath over the Capitol incursion overnight on January 6, and the next day in his speech he stated a scathing indictment regarding the actions of Donald Trump.

He stated that the actions of Former President Donald Trump before the Capital riot represented a disgraceful dereliction of duty. Furthermore, the senator continued with an Op-Ed in The Wall Street Journal, and now his feelings for Donald Trump are completely clear.

There are many situations where McConnell shared publicly his disgrace for the former president, and the next quotation is just one of them.

‘’There is no question former President Trump bears moral responsibility. His supporters stormed the Capitol because of the unhinged falsehoods he shouted into the world’s largest megaphone. His behavior during and after the chaos was also unconscionable.’’

The senator added, that in the impeachment trial he would have voted to convict Trump if there wasn’t the fact that it would have been unconstitutional to do so.

But, Donald Trump isn’t from the same type of personality, so his reply was shared on Tuesday, as a statement from Trump’s Save America PAC, labeling McConnell’s failure as a leader.

According to Trump’s statement, the Republican Party will never have the same respect, and it won’t be strong like it used to be, with ‘leaders’ like Sen. Mitch McConnell.  He dedicated his life to his business as always, status quo policies, all of these in combination with his lack of political insight, wisdom, skill, and personality, resulted in his change of position from Majority Leader to Minority Leader. If he/they don’t change something the situation will only get worse.

Trump stated that the Democrats play with McConnell like a fiddle. The Democrats and Chuck Schumer have never had it so perfectly, and they want to maintain that.

‘’We know our America First agenda is a winner, not McConnell’s Beltway First agenda or Biden’s America Last.’’

Trump has compared his ability to those of the Senator.

In 2020, Trump got the most votes of any sitting President in the history of America, 75,000,000. The Republicans won majorities in 59 out of 98 partisan legislative chambers, and the Democrats couldn’t change not even one chamber.

In Mitch’s Senate, during the last two election cycles, Trump managed to save at least 12 Senate seats. Even 8 more in the 2020 cycle alone. But, Trump said, then followed the Georgia disaster, where both U.S. Senate seats should have been won by them if McConnell didn’t match the Democrat offer of $2,000 stimulus checks with $600.  This works in the way where it became the Democrat’s principal advertisement, which brought them the award.

Then, McConnell, the most unpopular politician in the US, became part of the advertisements. Numerous Republicans in Georgia changed their minds and supported the Democrats or didn’t vote at all. The reason why their sympathies changed is that they were angry at their inept Governor, Brian Kemp, and Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger, also at the Republican Party because they didn’t fulfill their responsibilities on Election Integrity while the 2020 Presidential election.

A failure of a leader is not the winner the America needs, claimed Trump.

Trump revealed that McConnell didn’t do anything, and he will continue doing so. This person will never secure a fair and just electoral system, not now, nor in the future. McConnell doesn’t possess what it takes, he never possessed it, and he never will! The former president publicly declared that he regrets endorsing McConnell for re-election.

‘’Without my endorsement, McConnell would have lost, and lost badly. Now, his numbers are lower than ever before. He is destroying the Republican side of the Senate, and in so doing, seriously hurting our Country.’’- Trump wrote.

Besides, Mr. Trump discovered that McConnell is a part of the soft-on-China crowd.

He stated that the Senator doesn’t have credibility in China because his family owns substantial business holdings. Regarding the fact that this is a tremendous economic and military threat, McConnell isn’t doing anything.

Donald Trump counts that McConnell, will never the right thing for the US. If necessary, he will back primary rivals who embrace Making America Great Again and the policy of America First. To sum up, Trump’s party wants brilliant, strong, thoughtful, and compassionate leaders and leadership.

The closing of Trump’s statement consists of indicating his achievements in comparison to America’s current mess. He is saying that the ‘’leaders’’ like McConnell shouldn’t be discussed as a part of the answer.

During the coronavirus situation, Trump’s party created the greatest economy in the history of the US. The economic recovery of the crisis was the best in the whole world.

Some of the imposed measures: the cut of taxes and regulations, the military rebuilt, the US became energy independent. They built a wall to stop the massive inflow of illegals into the country.

Now, the United States of America will increase the taxes, it won’t be energy independent, the pipelines are stopped, etc.

Politico cited an unknown source and said that Trump dictated the statement himself. The initial statement indicated mockery of McConnell’s multiple chins.
