This irresponsible mother was keeping the highly addictive drug fentanyl in a reachable place, causing her innocent little baby to tragically harm himself…

According to the report from Kentucky police, she told them that she bought the illegal drug after she got some money she received from a federal stimulus check.

“Baker was arrested on Thursday and has been charged with murder, importing fentanyl, and trafficking in a controlled substance.”

“She is being held without bond at the Kenton County Detention Center and appeared before a judge on Friday.”

“First responders were called to the home of the 33-year-old mother for a child that was not breathing”, Ludlow Police Department officials said.

After arriving, they found the toddler in a respiratory arrest and rushed with him to the Cincinnati Children’s Hospital, where, unfortunately, the medical staff declared his death.

“It’s tragic and senseless that a 2-year-old boy is dead because his mother couldn’t keep the fentanyl out of his reach,” Kenton County Commonwealth’s Attorney, Rob Sanders stated for a local newspaper.

The irresponsible mother first took a shot of fentanyl, after which she fell asleep. The toddler boy, unfortunately, grabbed her purse, eating some of the fentanyl that was still inside.

And for this event to be even more tragic, the one who called the police was the father, after they found the little one not responding…
