So many changes to the regular traditions of the Royals have been implied for this particular occasion. Some of them are due to the COVID 19 pandemic, but some – are a matter of family relations.

The latest change is the separation between the two brothers, Prince William and Prince Harry, in the ceremonial walk on their grandfather’s funeral.

According to an article published by People Magazine, “Buckingham Palace has released details about the funeral, including the procession order. While both William and Harry will be in the procession, their cousin, Peter Phillips (the son of Princess Anne), is set to walk between them. In the second procession into the chapel, William will walk with Peter, and Harry will walk with David Armstrong-Jones, the son of Princess Margaret and Antony Armstrong-Jones.”

A spokesman for Buckingham’s Palace stated that this change was merely a “practical change” rather than “sending a signal.”

But that’s hard to believe, given the circumstances…

Harry and Meghan have done the unthinkable – appearing on Oprah’s show, revealing all the dirty laundry from the Royals! Especially about Prince William and his wife Kate. Such a knife in the back, and coming from your own blood-brother is unimaginably painful.

“This is a funeral and we are not going to be drawn into perceptions of drama. The arrangements have been agreed and represent Her Majesty’s wishes,” the spokesperson added.
