The Media Manufactured McAfee’s Suicide Narrative, According to the Magnate’s Widow

On June 6, the widow of British-American computer magnate John McAfee went on a Twitter rant, blaming the corporate media a “malignant cancer” for “fabricating” the narrative of her husband’s prison suicide.

“Before I or his attorneys were even aware of his death, the story of John’s’suicide’ was fully written and given to the public,” the statement stated.

Janice McAfee stated in the Twitter caption of the post accompanying the declaration, “I cannot begin to convey this pain I am feeling.” “This is how everyone who actually loved John feels. Since the news of John’s death, I’ve been trying to write this tweet. I’m still not convinced he’s the real deal.

The widow claims in her statement that she learned of her husband’s death on Twitter and subsequently discovered an alleged “suicide note” in his pocket.

“Words cannot express how outraged I am that I had to learn about John’s death through a DM on Twitter. And now it’s being conveniently reported that a “suicide note” was discovered in his pocket, something that wasn’t stated when I picked up John’s possessions from the prison and another piece of information that the media somehow got hold of before myself and John’s attorneys,” she continued.

“The inquiry into John’s death is still underway, but I will disclose whatever information I have as soon as it becomes available. Until then, I refuse to believe the ‘suicide’ story promoted by the malignant disease known as the MSM. She wrote, “They and their unidentified sources are not to be trusted.”

McAfee’s lawyer, Javier Villalba, told Reuters a few days earlier that his client had no suicidal thoughts. “At no point had he displayed any specific concern or clue that could have led us to believe this had occurred.”

After years on the run from US authorities, McAfee was apprehended last October 3 at Barcelona airport after being indicted in Tennessee on allegations of tax evasion and an alleged cryptocurrency fraud.

“All is well,” he tweeted from prison a few days later. Know that it will not be my fault if I hang myself like Epstein.”

He was referring to Jeffrey Epstein, a convicted sex offender who committed suicide in a U.S. prison in 2019.

Authorities ruled the antiviral industry pioneer’s death a suicide after a preliminary autopsy. McAfee’s family, on the other hand, does not trust that version of events and has demanded a second autopsy to ascertain the true cause of death.

He was a 75-year-old engineer and computer guru. He was found dead in his cell in a Barcelona prison on Wednesday, June 23, just hours after a Spanish court ordered his extradition to the United States, according to the official story.

However, substantial suspicions have been raised regarding whether he committed himself or was assassinated since, as McAffe himself wrote on Twitter, he had material in his possession that might have severely harmed the political system.
