In the CNN edition for the father’s day, the host of the show Brian Stelter, shared that only 656,000 viewers were his smallest audience of the year. It was the first time in 2021 that ‘’Reliable Sources’’ couldn’t reach 700,000 viewers, and Stelter’s left media program is at this very bottom.
Fox News ‘’Media Buzz’’ is Stelter’s direct timeslot competitor, and they averaged 1.14 million viewers to top ‘Reliable Sources’’ by 74%.

The program is 35 years old and lost 13% of the viewers only from the episode from June 13, reaching the lowest number of viewers of the year.

The stunning drop came days after podcast host Joe Rogan blasted Stelter’s program for sounding the alarm that certain YouTube personalities have more viewers than CNN “as if it was some horrible thing.””
“They didn’t even understand the way they were describing it,” Regan stated. “They were describing it as if they’re entitled to viewers. They were saying, ‘There are people on YouTube right now that get more views than this show. This is because the market has spoken and your show’s f—ing terrible. Well, Brian Stelter’s show keeps slipping and slipping and slipping in the ratings.”
