They went around FISA court and searched NSA communications to find far-right domestic extremists. The FBI did that even though they were warned previously that their action violates the Fourth Amendment, making it unconstitutional.

James Boasberg, FISA judge, declared that he found out “apparent widespread violations of the querying standard.”
However, according to the FISA report from November 18, 2020, and declassified on Monday, seven FBI field offices violated the Fourth Amendment.
One FBI analyst searched for NSA data “in connection with predicated criminal investigations relating to domestic terrorism,” and 33 results appeared.
In 2018 and 2019, the FBI was warned by one federal judge that what they did and searched the NSA was unconstitutional. However, they did it!
Why would they obey the law?
