Man, you’re retired – go take a walk with your grandchildren!

Toomey was a guest on Fox News Channel’s show, “Your World with Neil Cavuto,” where he stated that if President Trump decides to run again in the upcoming 2024 presidential elections, he would cost the Republican party the White House! Such prudence!

“I know you’re leaving the Senate,” the host of the show, Neil Cavuto asked. “You got into a storm of controversy with your own state GOP because you voted to convict the president in the impeachment trial in the Senate. Do you look back at that and have any regrets and the wrath you have received for that vote and the criticism of the president and others?”

I don’t think he can be the nominee,” Toomey answered. “Look what happened. He won the election in 2016, and then we lost the House. And then he cost us the White House, which was a very winnable race. And then he cost us control of the Senate by what he did in Georgia. I think with that kind of track record. It’s not likely that he’ll be the nominee.”

“If he were, would you support him?” Cavuto asked, to which Toomey instantly and shamelessly replied, “I don’t see that happening.”

I can say, I truly do admire his “bravery”. He should be aware he signed his political death note with that.
