It was strange because reporters weren’t even permitted to “see” her jet take off.
According to the Daily Wire, Vice President Kamala Harris traveled to Palm Springs, California, on Friday, while Democrats in Washington worked to approve a political $3.5 trillion reconciliation bill and an infrastructure bill.
“Harris, who recently campaigned in the Bay Area for Gov. Gavin Newsom ahead of the state’s Sept. 14 recall election, appears to be a strong supporter of Newsom.
The White House did not immediately respond to a request for comment on the nature of Harris’ trip to Palm Springs, but said she would return to Washington, D.C. on Saturday. Harris and her husband, Douglas Emhoff, own a property in Los Angeles, according to Fox News.
Journalists were reportedly barred from watching Harris leave Joint Base Andrews.
Was this merely a day excursion to a hideaway with her husband?
What are you trying to get away from?
She hasn’t taken any action. She’s gone missing half the time, and when she does show up, she cackles like a hyena.
My guess is that it has to do with her new “crisis PR” squad, which is attempting to improve her image and approval ratings.
