Nikki Haley will not be among the potential 2024 GOP candidates as conservatives assemble for their annual conference known as CPAC, with suggestions that her rivalry with Donald Trump is a contributing factor.
Haley is “isolated,” according to one source, after she attacked President Trump for the January 6 Capitol riot.

This comes in the wake of the former U.S. ambassador to the U.N. last week calling for a Mar-a-Lago meeting with Trump. Her application was turned down.
Haley has a history of criticizing President Trump for a long time.

Nikki Haley has a history of negative remarks about Trump, so it’s not shocking he’d turn down a meeting.
“After the Jan. 6 Capitol riot and just before the second impeachment of Tump, Haley told Republicans in an interview that “We need to accept he let us down. He went down a road he wasn’t supposed to take, and we weren’t supposed to join him, and we weren’t supposed to listen to him. And we can’t let that happen again at any time.’
She challenged “any electoral longevity” in the same interview he was going to have going forward. She did not think Trump would run in 2024, Haley said. “He can’t, I suppose. So far, he’s fallen.
The remarks by Haley on Donald Trump go back far further than they did in January this year.
In 2016, when she said, “At tense times, it can be tempting to follow the siren call of the most angry voices,” she gave the Republican response to President Barack Obama’s final State of the Union Address.
In an NBC Today Show interview the next day, Haley said that she specified that Donald Trump, then front-runner for the Republican nomination, was one of the “angry voices” she was referring to.
Haley invoked the killing of nine black parishioners in a Charleston church in June 2015 when she said she feels the rhetoric of Trump is “dangerous.” “I know what your rhetoric can do,” she went on to say. I have seen it happen.
She also went on to reiterate the lie that the KKK had not been disavowed by Trump.
Even PolitiFact knows the white nationalists have been disavowed by Trump for decades.
Governor Haley of South Carolina sounded every bit like a Never-Trumper in February of 2016.
Speaking in Columbia to CNN affiliate WIS Television, she said candidate Donald Trump embodied “everything in a president that a governor does not want.”

A GOP source claims, according to a story from The Hill, that while Haley has been trying to position herself for a White House run, she has trouble communicating with Trump supporters.
The source went on to say that “Haley never heard the President and doesn’t seem to understand where the party’s base is.”
