Rand Paul Won’t Stop Slamming Dr. Fauci

Sen. Rand Paul (R-KY) appeared on “Fox & Friends” on Friday to discuss his heated exchange with Dr. Anthony Fauci, the White House’s chief medical adviser, the day before. We previously reported that Paul and Fauci had it out on Thursday about the intent of requiring people to wear masks even after being vaccinated against COVID-19.
Paul stated in his interview that there is “no science” to show that someone who has been vaccinated can still contract coronavirus. He then defied the left by claiming that there is “not a great deal of evidence” that mask mandates or economic lockdown helped slow COVID-19’s spread.

“If you look at all of the mask mandates across the country, the disease incidence went up when we implemented the mask mandates, especially in December and January. “Everyone was wearing masks as we went up exponentially, as infections increased,” he continued. “As a result, there isn’t much evidence that mask mandates or economic restraints have altered the trajectory. The vaccine is the only thing that can alter the course of events. As a result, I don’t believe people should be duped into believing the mask is the solution. The vaccine is the real solution, but the mask isn’t. With everyone wearing masks, we’ve had an outbreak of infection.”
