Queen Elizabeth is obviously heartbroken and desperate since she has outlived her husband, which was her loyal and faithful partner for 73 long years!
A source told that the Queen personally called each one of her children, announcing them the sudden death of their father. The funeral arrangements are already in motion, but the Queen is hoping that all of the family would come. Also, she desperately wants to see her grandson Harry and hopes he would fly over even earlier than the ceremony.
“The queen wants Harry to be there,” an insider explained for UK Daily.“Harry is hopeful that he’ll be able to return home to honor his grandfather, with who he had a close bond.”
The source also said that due to the COVID 19 crisis, the funeral will be kept in a small circle, as narrow as possible.
It’s highly unlikely that Markle will come as well, since she is pregnant with her second child, as it is announced to be a girl, but the source told that she personally called the Queen, after the news that Prince Philip was hospitalized have reached their ears.
Also, Harry and Meghan made a tribute to Philip in the wake of his death in a brief statement posted on their Archewell Foundation website.
“In Loving Memory of His Royal Highness The Duke of Edinburgh, 1921-2021. Thank you for your service…you will be greatly missed.”
