Ex-CBS5 San Antonio promotions producer Brett Mauser talked with James O’Keefe and warned about the station’s mandatory diversity and inclusion training that directs its journalists, producers, editors to remove objectivity from their news.

KENS CBS5 represents an affiliate station of CBS owned by Tegna Inc, the latest media conglomerates. They have 64 local radio and TV stations across 51 different markets in the US.
They have access to 39% of American households through their vast network, and the website says they produce “trusted, impactful, and innovative” content that “helps bring positive change to their communities, but as O’Keefe points out, “changes are going on within Tegna, and they aren’t all positive.”
Mauser gave PV audio and video recordings of the corporate training personnel. Among them is the one where Tegna’s Chief Diversity Officer Grady Tripp said that the company would be holding their news stations accountable with social justice and equity.
Tripp stated that the news isn’t linked with the facts. He said that if you aren’t looking at videos that include Marxist propaganda about equality, social justice, and race, – ‘’you don’t care.’’
Muser added that the overwhelming attack by corporate to champion this woke ideology has convinced a shocking number of the news staff to buy into the woke virtue signaling, casting aside a modicum of journalistic ethic they may have had in the process.

Mauser’s ex-employer shared a statement in a shameless attempt to run damage control.
KENS 5 said that Mauser’s statements were a “misunderstanding of what diversity and equity in a newsroom mean” and egregiously blamed him, and others like him, for their “lack of understanding” that the station says necessitates this type of woke training in the first place – how convenient.
