Here’s the warning issued by the FDA.

“Pfizer’s antiviral oral drug Paxlovid that was developed as an early treatment for Covid-19 can cause severe or life-threatening effects if it is taken in tandem with other common medications including some anticoagulants, anti-depressants, and cholesterol-lowering drugs that are used widely across the US.”

An amazing number of 6 total pages of warnings have been issued!

“In addition to the potentially dangerous drug combinations, the agency does not recommend that individuals with kidney or liver disease take the new drug because it could also cause complications.

Pfizer’s Covid pill regiment – Paxlovid – consists of a mix of two drugs – one being nirmatrelvir, which is meant to stop the SARS-CoV-2 virus from replicating, and the second, ritonavir, is an agent that acts to prolong the duration of the first.”

Paxlovid was the first antiviral oral medication of its kind that has been authorized for the treatment of Covid-19 even though other – more cost-effective – treatments have been proven to work and are widely available.

One such example of these cheap and safe treatments – Ivermectin – has not been approved in any capacity by the FDA to treat Covid-19, despite its strong results against the virus.
