Pelosi Claims That The Scenario Overturn Where Republican Win In Iowa District, Is Possible
Nancy Pelosi, the Speaker of the House on Thursday, said that she thinks of the scenario where the House of Representatives run by the Democrats would experience overturn a close Republican win in Iowa’s second district.
In her press conference, Pelosi heard the question if she could imagine a scenario where the Dems would remove Rep. Marianette Miller-Meeks from the seat to place Dem. Rita Hart.

The Committee on House Administration decided to continue an inquiry into the congressional race. The questioning continued, besides the fact that Miller-Meeks won by state authorities after the vote’s recount and bipartisan canvas.
Hart said that 22 ballots weren’t counted, which made her the victim because she would have won with them.
The Federal Contested Election Act provided the House with the opportunity to make close congressional races beyond the courts.
Marc Elias is Hart’s attorney, who in the 2016 election helped fund the “Russia dossier.” Also, he was Dems’ attorney during the 2020 election.

Pelosi defined the question as “hypothetical” and declared:
“Well, I respect the work of the committee. I did see, as you saw in the press, what they decided to — and they were following my, as I read it, the requirements of the law as to how you go forward. And how you go forward is the path you’re on, and we’ll see where that takes us. But there could be a scenario to that extent. Yes.”
If this time the House replaced Miller-Meeks with Hart, it would have been the first time after 1985. Then, a Dems-run-House replaced a Republican with a Democrat. It was accused of causing the increased partisanship that has never stopped until today.
