Such an example happened on Thursday evening.
CNN Brian Stetler talked to a fellow show host, Don Lemon. They wanted to discredit Tucker Carlson’s new Patriot Purge on Fox Nation.

During the discussion, Stelter stated that Fox News, a direct cable news channel competitor, has a “loud but relatively small base” of viewers.
Despite Stelter’s claims, AAFox News outperformed CNN’s shows.
In the third-quarter ratings by Nielsen, Fox News won first place, ranking in 2.372 million viewers.
CNN’s prime-time shows have 1.548.000 fewer viewers compared to Fox News. The audience didn’t know the Fox news’ numbers, so they thought that CNN had a much larger audience.
Fox News had 2.37 million viewers in the prime time in the third quarter., while CNN’s numbers attracted over one-third as many viewers as 822.000.
CNN had a massive drop in year-over-year viewership with the departure of Donald Trump.
Without him being present to attack, CNN lost 46% of the audience. Fox News experienced a 32% drop.
The most significant loss in viewer trust has experienced CNN and faced a drop in 5 points.
One week ago, Reliable Sources, Stalter’s show, faced its lowest-rated week of this year, having only 85,000 viewers. The show lost to Fox News’ 11 am counterpart, MediaBuzz, which has 1.473.000 total viewers.
Stelter isn’t charismatic, he isn’t telling the truth, and how could he expect to have a larger audience?
