Officer Shot In The Face In A Chicago Mall Incident!

Just another regular day in “Cowboy” Chicago…

The crime rate in Chicago isn’t even worth being measured and mentioned statistically, because we are all reading about Chicago incidents in the news, like they’re not part of the civilized, democratic country we live in.

And the latest incident was, without doubt, one of the most brutal things I’ve read about in the news!

A Chicago PD officer got shot in the face, after trying to remove the problematic shooter from the North & Sheffield Commons mall, around 3:30 P.M.

In the middle of the day!

According to reports, “Officers responded to an altercation between a security guard and a subject acting “erratically” at the mall’s Ulta Beauty around 3:30 pm. The erratic behavior continued when police got there and the person struggled with the officer attempting to remove them from the store.

The struggle moved to the parking lot, when a second officer arrived on the scene, and the person got into their car. That’s when the shots were fired.”

Chicago Police Superintendent David Brown told reporters that the subject fired three times at the officer and, luckily, only struck him once.

The shot went straight in the face, and the officer suffered a “through and through,” non-life-threatening wound. He has since been treated at the hospital.

During the incident, gunshots weren’t fired in return by the rest of the officers in the team. The suspect was arrested and the handgun was taken from him.

Political presence has been since increased in the area due to the alarmingly increased number of calls because of thefts and robberies.

The violence in Chicago continued last weekend, with four people killed and 22 shot, including an 11-year-old being shot by another child.
