Obama also went after Trump directly, saying that during his eight years in the White House, he “surfed” much of the anti-Obama emotion.
“My successor, Donald Trump, was one of the offenders of that, not the inventor of it, but someone who profited from it,” he stated. “And we saw how powerful the constellation of conservative media sources, talk radio, and, ultimately, all of this gets turbocharged with social media is.”
