NASA Hired Priest! It Expects The Big Discovery!

People call priests for different reasons, baptism, marriages, and funerals. But, can you guess why NASA would hire a priest? Maybe they expect a life-changing event!
I think they do!

NASA enlisted Reverend Dr. Andrew Davison and 23 other theologians to understand how people would react when they realized that intelligent life exists on other planets.
Maybe NASA knows something that we don’t?
Davison’s book that is scheduled to be released in 2022, ‘’ Astrobiology and Christian Doctrine,’’ will contribute to a joint effort by NASA and Princeton University’s Center for Theological Inquiry to see how the people will react if they acknowledge that there is life and people on other planets.
Davidson is a good man for this job. He wants to answer the critical question is how the theologians would react to the notion of there having been many incarnations [of Christ]” in the universe.
This collaboration is good. The James Webb Space Telescope, launched on Christmas, can analyze the planets’ atmospheres and see if they support life. It is a $10 worth project, and it is 100 more powerful than the Hubble Telescope.
The Times reported that scientists at Cardiff claim that living organisms could create ammonia in Venus’s atmosphere.
No one knows if extraterrestrials will be found. The odds suggest that we aren’t the only life in the universe.
How is this linked to religion?
‘’Everything that rises must converge’’ explains how evolution would operate in a divinely ordered universe.
Christianity, contrary to popular belief, isn’t at offs with science. ‘’The Return of the God Hypothesis’’ by Stephen Mayer is a bestseller. He uses physics, biology, and cosmology to lays a scientific argument for God’s existence.
The Times reported that Davison, in his book, says, “The headline findings are that adherents of a range of religious traditions report that they can take the idea [of extraterrestrial life] in their stride.”
When the creation is regarded as God’s generous gift, it will apply equally to whatever other life could exist in the universe.
If you believe in the Christian God, and he doesn’t exist, then you live a moral life. If you choose not to believe in God and go about doing whatever you want, and God does exist, then you will suffer eternally.
Pascal concluded, “Let us weigh the gain and the loss in wagering that God is. Let us estimate these two chances. If you gain, you gain all; if you lose, you lose nothing. Wager, then, without hesitation that He is.”
