The partisan January 6 commission formed by Speaker Nancy Pelosi, which is entirely composed of radical Democrats and Republicans that are with clear anti-Trump perspectives is created for one reason only – imposing their personal views on the January 6 narrative. They have been since, trying their best to make the whole thing look like it was an attempted coup by President Trump.
According to The Hill,
“Former President Trump on Monday filed a federal lawsuit against the Jan. 6 select committee seeking to block the panel from obtaining his administration’s records from the National Archives.”
“The Committee’s request amounts to nothing less than a vexatious, illegal fishing expedition openly endorsed by Biden and designed to unconstitutionally investigate President Trump and his administration,” the lawsuit reads. “Our laws do not permit such an impulsive, egregious action against a former President and his close advisors.”
“The committee has previously made clear it plans to fight any executive privilege claims, noting resistance from former White House strategist Steve Bannon to comply with a subpoena,” the report added.
“Mr. Bannon has declined to cooperate with the Select Committee and is instead of hiding behind the former President’s insufficient, blanket, and vague statements regarding privileges he has purported to invoke. We reject his position entirely,” Thompson said in a statement last week.
The lawsuit is an answer to numerous attempts to force the Trump administration to comply with unlawful subpoenas. President Trump’s logical reaction was to hire four top aides to defy these “sweeping subpoenas” issued by the partisan January 6 commission.
“Former President Donald Trump is directing a group of his former aides to ignore a subpoena from the House committee probing the Jan. 6 Capitol attack and signaling he will go to court to block their testimony to the investigators.”
Steve Bannon, the former WH strategist, was one of the first public personalities that went straight forward with his statement that he will be supporting President Trump in this crazy fight with no background.
“I stand with Trump and the Constitution,” he told the Daily Mail.
