On Monday, there had been an altercation between some of the pupils at a school bus stop. Captain Brian Hall of the Guilford County Sheriff’s Office informed WRAL News that a female involved in the bus stop fight recruited at least three students from different high schools, including a 37-year-old mother of one of the girls. According to WRAL News, the girl propped open the high school’s door, allowing anyone to enter the campus and harm the student.

According to WRAL News, the 14-year-old girl has bruises and scratches on her face, but no serious injuries.
The 14-year-mother old’s told WRAL News, “I don’t understand how a grown woman could think it was OK to come and jump on a 14-year-old and believe it was OK.”
According to Hall of WRAL News, six minors, an 18-year-old, and the mother who took part in the incident will likely face charges of misdemeanor assault and instigating a riot. Those who do not attend Southern Guilford High School will very certainly be charged with first-degree trespassing, he noted.
“Unfortunately, school conflicts are not unusual for us,” Hall told WRAL News. “Every week, we get our fair share of those. However, there aren’t many cases where parents are involved. It was taken to a whole new level after that. I think the school administration should send a clear message that this kind of behavior will not be accepted, and that if you act like this, you will lose your privilege to attend school here.”
