Congratulations, Buddy, on nearly a half-century of extraordinary service to First Families and our country.” –was the description of her Instragam post.

It is a result of Barack and Michelle Obama’s concerns that their children would become “weird kids” due to their privileged lives in the WH.

“They don’t have an attitude – that was what me and Michelle were worried about the most, and I write about this in the book – when I talked about running, are we going to end up with weird kids?” Obama stated in a show hosted by James Corden. “And Michelle and my mother-in-law were very good with saying, ‘Listen, you have to make your own beds, you have to wake yourselves up.'”

Obama added that his daughters, Malian and Sasha, won’t get involved in politics.

“First of all, them as teenagers having Secret Service guys follow them when they were going out on dates, I think probably has shut down their interest in public service,” Former President Obama explained. “They still have PTSD from guys talking into their wrist microphones with glasses as they’re trying to go to a music concert.”

Obama wanted to gush about his daughters, although he doesn’t think they will follow his footsteps.

“They have turned into just exceptional young women,” he said. . “I could not be prouder of them, not just because they’re smart and accomplished, but they’re just kind people. They don’t have an attitude.”
