Oprah shared some clips from the interview that hasn’t been played in Sunday night’s special on Monday morning. In those videos, Meghan talks about the relationship with Samantha, her step-sister, who is the author of a tell-all book about Prince Harry’s wife.

Meghan said:
“I think it would be very hard to tell all when you don’t know me,”
“The last time I saw her must have been at least 18 or 19 years ago. And before that, 10 years before that.”

Samantha was a guest on Inside Edition, and in her interview, she denied some of the things Markle said. Also, she showed a piece of evidence to back up her arguments.

“I don’t know how she can say I don’t know her, and she was an only child,”
“We’ve got photographs over a lifespan of us together, so how can she not know me?”

Samantha continued to speak about their relationship and showed pictures of both of them together. There were pictures from Samantha’s college graduation, which was in 2008.

The photo is proof that Meghan’s claims aren’t accurate and that they have seen each other more recently than 18 years ago.

Also, Meghan said that Samantha changed her name back to Markle in her 50s after hearing the news of her dating Prince Harry broke.

But, responding to this, Samantha proved that she was Markle, way before that. As proof, Samantha brought a petition for a name change dating in 1997 and her college diploma, at which she is Markle.

“I was a Markle before she was,”
“I thought that was kind of weird that she’d say I only changed my name back when she met Harry. Markle’s always been my name.”

Moreover, regarding Meghan’s claims, she had suicidal thoughts while she was in the royal family, but that doesn’t justify her rude communication with her step-sister.

“Depression is not an excuse for treating people like dishrags and disposing of them,” –Samantha stated.
