According to the report,

“Baier has been hosting “Special Report” ever since January of 2009, and he had signed a multi-year deal in 2019. Since taking over “Special Report,” he’s increased the ratings by double-digits, with the show being consistently ranked in the top ten of cable news shows for the past decade. Fox said in a press release that “Special Report” is up 53% overall in the ratings for total viewers and 21% for the key 25-54 age demographic.”

“Bret has masterfully covered some of the most consequential news stories of our time and we’re thrilled to have him continue his extraordinary journalism career at FOX News for many years to come,” CEO Suzanne Scott said in a statement.
