Vice President Kamala Harris took off from Joint Base Andrews in Maryland Sunday, and she was forced to return to base, after the plane that carried her experienced technical issues.
According to the information from the article published by the Daily Mail,
“he plane landed safely and she gave a thumbs-up when she got off.
“I’m good, I’m good.
“We all said a little prayer, but we’re good,” she said.
The vice president was expected to depart in another plane in about an hour, spokesperson Symone Sanders told reporters traveling with Ms. Harris.
“It is a technical issue.
“There are no major safety concerns,” Ms. Sanders said.”
A technical issue that involved “no major safety concerns” forced VP Kamala Harris' plane to return to Joint Base Andrews in Maryland about 25 minutes after she left on a trip to Guatemala and Mexico. Harris is expected to depart on another plane. https://t.co/Go9Mo9joIA
