The Biden administration is making new vaccine requirements for international travelers who are coming to the US.

From November 8, there are three new orders shared by the CDC and will be enforced.

The first order asks the non-US citizens, not immigrants, to be fully vaccinated against the virus and provide proof of their vaccination status before their flight. Both digital and paper proof will be accepted.

The order includes narrow medial exceptions, minor children, and people from counties with less than a 10 % total vaccination rate.

“Even in the low-vaccine-availability countries, people will also need to have a compelling reason to come here,” said the official. “So, it’s just not they’re coming here for any reason; they need to have a specific, compelling reason. So, tourist visas will not qualify for that.”

Fifty countries worldwide have less than a 10% vaccination rate.

If one passenger to the US isn’t vaccinated, they have to show a negative PCR test less than a day old to board the plane.

Another order asks the fully vaccinated passengers to show a negative PCR test within three days of departure.

The last rule is that travelers have to give airlines contact information before boarding US flights.

The Biden admin shared these orders on October 12, and it will reopen its land borders to nonessential travel at the beginning of November for the fully vaccinated.

The WH stated that nothing was off the table.

On October 12, the OSHA finalized the initial draft of the Emergency Temporary Standard set to implement Biden’s mandates and sent it to the WH OMB.

Texas Governor Greg Abbott shared his own order banning Texas businesses from requiring vaccines for the employees.
