Julia Roberts, the Hollywood actress, has just revealed that she will present Dr. Anthony Fauci with a “Award of Bravery,” who she claims is her “personal hero.”

The Academy Award-winning actress will present Fauci at the organization’s virtual “A Gala for Our Time” event on March 4 with amfAR’s Award of Courage.
This comes after amfAR [The AIDS Research Foundation] briefly extended the scope of its work to include COVID-19 research. Fauci seems to enjoy the response that the Hollywood star gets from him.
“Thank you very much, Julia, I really appreciate these very kind words,” said Fauci. “To come from you means a terrible lot to me. We see that awards like this are great, and having recognition is always good.
Fauci, who is the head of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID), then praised the “unsung heroes” who “put their lives and protection on the line” and do not earn the same kind of attention he does.
“All of the unsung heroes out there, I want to make sure we give them a hat,” Fauci said.
“Especially the health workers who, very bravely, put their life and their safety on the line every day to take care of people who are desperately ill.”
“So, we’re all part of the family, really,” he added. I may be a little more recognizable than they are, but what they do is just as critical as everything I do. So, thank you so much for the very kind words. I will keep them close to me for a long time”
