US District Judge Alison Nathan was appointed to the federal bench by Obama in 2011. Before being the federal judge, she clerked for the late Supreme Court Justice John Paul Steven, worked as counsel for the AG of NY, and also was an associate WH counsel and special assistant for Obama.
Judge Nathan granted Ghislaine Maxwell’s request to redact and hide sensational and impure data from the public during the trial. Also, a federal judge in NY has granted a request to redact segments from Maxwell’s trials filed last month and said that some information was too sensational and impure to reveal.
