Jim Jordan Makes a Trump 2024 Prediction: ‘I Just Spoke With Him the Other Day’

Former President Donald Trump could run for president in 2024, according to Rep. Jim Jordan, who said that the 45th commander-in-chief has demonstrated he has the stamina to resist whatever Washington, D.C. throws at him.
According to the Des Moines Register, Jordan said, “I think he’s going to run,” in a clip published by Undercurrent TV journalist Lauren Windsor during an event in Iowa for the Dallas County Republican Party.

Another individual in the exchange is overheard responding, “You think so?”
Jordan continued, “I know so, sure, I talked to him yesterday.” “After all of the craziness in Afghanistan, he’s about to make an announcement.”

Jim Jordan: President Trump, he's gonna run again.
Pete: You think so?
Jordan: I know so. Yeah, I talked to him yesterday. He's about ready to announce after all of this craziness in Afghanistan… pic.twitter.com/Ndogdm7Ipl— Lauren Windsor (@lawindsor) September 3, 2021
Jordan continued, “I want him to flee.” “He’s shown he can handle the pressure.
“Right now, you need someone who is willing to fight, who is willing to stand up to all the abuses,” he added.
Jordan was one of 147 House Republicans who voted against certifying Vice President Joe Biden’s election victory in 2020. He claimed he is proud of the debate surrounding his decision in his speech to the Iowa crowd.
“Like I always tell my colleagues, especially the Freedom Caucus folks, if the press isn’t saying something negative about you, you’re not doing anything good,” he remarked.
“The cancel culture mob will attack you just by defending conservative ideals and principles.”
Other Republicans, such as retiring Pennsylvania Senator Pat Toomey, have opposed Trump’s re-election because he failed to concede his apparent loss to Biden.
However, supporters remind out that Hillary Clinton, the Democratic presidential contender in 2016, did not completely acknowledge her loss to Trump, instead clinging to the unverified charge that the Trump team conspired with Russia against her.
Jason Miller, a former Trump aide and co-founder of the GETTR social media network, also expects Trump will run again.
“I’d guess between 99 and 100 percent,” says the author. “I believe he will run in 2024,” he told J.D. Durkin of Cheddar TV.
Trump has remained tight-lipped about his plans for 2024 thus far. Trump faulted current campaign funding restrictions for not being able to be more specific about his plans in a recent interview with Fox News anchor Sean Hannity.
“Can you believe it, I’m not permitted to answer that question because the campaign finance laws are so convoluted and ridiculous?” he stated
In an interview with Fox Business Network host Maria Bartiromo, Trump made similar remarks.
“If I tell you that, a whole variety of awful things happen,” the former president added.
“I’m afraid I can’t tell you. I can tell you this: I am a huge supporter of our country. He went on to say, “You’re going to be extremely pleased.”
According to Breitbart News, the laws Trump is referring to include disclosure requirements and rigorous spending rules.
“Trump’s political action organization, Save America PAC,” the site reported, “allows him to spend the hundreds of millions of dollars he raised after the election on political operations but not on an official presidential campaign.”
“If Trump declares a presidential run, he will be subjected to rigorous restrictions requiring him to disclose details of his personal finances, as well as tighter limits on donations and spending,” the news outlet noted.
