Jill Biden Picks Husband’s Side – ‘Can’t Fight Endlessly In Other Country’s Civil War’

An old-school housewife, and a good wife, would do this kind of a move, supporting her husband despite his terrible and obvious mistakes.

But, let’s be real here – there was no war, President Trump ordered the troops to come back home, and the situation was stable. Untill Joe Biden came along, making stupid moves in the international community, acting like American chief, when he hasn’t got half the attitude and brains, unlike his predecessor Trump, that left him a blooming country, that made efforts to detain the peace in Afghanistan.

First Lady, Jill Biden made the following statement via her personal Twitter account.

Her statement came after her husband Joe tried to defend himself in an address from the White House on Monday night.

“I stand squarely behind my decision. After 20 years I’ve learned the hard way that there was never a good time to withdraw U.S. forces,” Biden said, according to CNBC. “I am president of the United States of America. The buck stops with me.”

However, Biden also admitted that he had not seen this coming.

“The truth is, this did unfold more quickly than we anticipated,” Biden said of the swift offensive carried out by the Taliban.

Despite this confession, he doesn’t seem to have any other regrets.

“I know my decision will be criticized, but I would rather take all that criticism than pass this decision on to a future president,” Biden said.

“I want to acknowledge how painful this is to so many of us. The scenes we’re seeing in Afghanistan, they’re gut-wrenching, particularly for our veterans, our diplomats, humanitarian workers, anyone who has spent time on the ground working to support the Afghan people.”

“For those who have lost loved ones in Afghanistan, and for Americans who have fought and served in the country, serve our country in Afghanistan. This is deeply, deeply personal. It is for me as well.”

He lost his son Beau, but not from war-related reasons, but from cancer. He can’t imagine what war looks like – he can’t predict anything, and honestly, he doesn’t seem to even care.
