And something like that happened in the latest episode of the game show ‘JEOPARDY’.
It got the whole crowd confused!
According to the report published by 100 Percent Fed Up,
“A recent clue during the show has outraged some who believe it is misogynistic. This was a clue to the answer of a medical condition known as POTS (Postural Orthostatic Tachycardia Syndrome) aka ‘Grinch Syndrome.’
Savannah Guthrie was the latest guest host who read a clue from the Plain-Named Maladies category:
“Postural Orthostatic Tachycardia Syndrome is also known as Grinch Syndrome because this organ is too small.”
The answer was ‘what is the heart.’
Social media went bananas with people on Twitter blasting the answer/question that used the term “Grinch.
Many viewers tweeted about the clue and shared their frustration about the show’s episode.”
This appeared on Jeopardy tonight. Grinch syndrome is an offensive term. Can you imagine Jeopardy making light of cancer or MS patients with a "funny" name for their debilitating health condition?
