Ivermectin, a medicine used to treat COVID-19 in humans, appears to be gaining popularity. In the United States, ivermectin is commonly used to treat or prevent parasites in animals. Patients who self-medicate with ivermectin designed for horses have required medical assistance and been admitted to hospitals, according to the FDA.
Ivermectin: Everything You Need to Know
Ivermectin has not been approved by the FDA for use in humans to treat or prevent COVID-19. Ivermectin tablets are approved for some parasitic worms at very specified levels, and topical (on-the-skin) formulations are available for head lice and skin diseases like rosacea. Ivermectin is not an antiviral medication.
Taking high amounts of this medicine is risky and can result in significant consequences.
If you have a prescription for ivermectin for an FDA-approved usage, be sure you acquire it from a reputable supplier and follow the directions to the letter.
Never use a drug meant for animals on yourself. Animal ivermectin preparations differ significantly from human ivermectin preparations.
Ivermectin: What Is It and How Does It Work?

Yes, some Ivermectin formulations are intended for use in animals.
Yes, improper Ivermectin dosages can cause harm to users.
However, claiming that Ivermectin is ineffective against COVID-19 is pure propaganda.
People’s lives are being jeopardized by censorship and blacklisting of honest doctors who prescribe the necessary treatment.
As a result, many have started self-medicating with Ivermectin, with disastrous results.
In addition, the mainstream media altered the story to say that Ivermectin has no benefits.
