If Trump decides not to run for president in 2024, Roger Stone declared that GOP Representative Matt Gaetz should do it.
Stone had an interview on Russia Today, and he told Steve Malzberg, the host, that Gaetz would be the second perfect candidate to run for the 2024 presidential election. Because the best competitor, according to all GOP members, would be, of course, Mr. Donald Trump.

“As far as whether the president is going to run again, he seems to be teasing that he may, if he does he can count on me,”
“I will be there. But if he does not, four years is a very long time, even in American politics,”
“If he elects not to run, well, then, those of us who support his agenda, the America First agenda, we need to have a back-up candidate,” – Stone continued.
“We need to have someone who can win a general election on the same platform that Donald Trump won on.”
Hearing all these arguments, Stone believes that if Trump refuses to run for the 2024 presidential election, Gaetz would be the right choice.
