Small acts of heroism are manifested these days by whistleblowing, and going against the cruel and irresponsible regime.
And that’s exactly what Ron DeSantis did with his latest move.

“The Florida Department of Health placed Orange County Medical Director, Dr. Raul Pino, on administrative leave for sending an email to staff coercing them to receive the COVID-19 injection.
Pino wrote the email on January 4th and complained about the number of Orange County staff members who haven’t taken the COVID-19 jab or received a booster,” local media reported.
“I have a hard time understanding how we can be in public health and not practice it,” Pino wrote in the email.
After sending the email he was placed on administrative leave.
In an email to WMFE, the Florida Department of Health has confirmed Pino was put on leave because, “the decision to get vaccinated is a personal choice that should be free from coercion and mandates from employers.”
He later insults the personal medical choices of staff members by calling those who refuse the experimental shots “irresponsible.”
The medical director insinuates many staff members will get sick, spread the virus to colleagues and family members, and be unable to serve clients.
Raul Pino, the Director of Public Health for Orange County in Florida, sent an email to his staff encouraging them all to get vaccinated so for his sins he's been placed on administrative leave. https://t.co/lBzbU5HrMi

3/5 As a Florida-based reporter, I’ve watched, written up or tweeted about too many of these controversies, which get disproportionate attention nationally because of the state’s peculiar dynamics.
So I may as well issue some disclaimers for the conspiracy theorists & trolls

This is a developing story & I’m not an expert in state employment & health privacy laws. So I take no position here, eitherSources tell me he’s a good doc w/good intentions to help people. That jibes w/the email he wrote
But if he broke a rule or law, it’s another matter
