Authorities say that Epstein committed suicide in his prison cell in 2019. It happened while he was waiting for a different sex crime charge trial.

But, Ghislaine’s brother talked to the Spectator and said, “my sister does think that he was killed.”

Ian Maxwell compared the conspiracy theories about Epstein and those about his father, Robert Maxwell.

The Daily Mail shared that Robert Maxwell was found dead in the Atlantic Ocean in 1991 after falling overboard from his yacht. At that time, Robert had an immense debt and was set to default on millions of pounds in loads, which led to the collapse of his business.

“‘I don’t buy a lot of the conspiracy theories at all,” Ian said on the podcast. “It so happens that one of the conspiracy theories is about my father that he was murdered rather than committed suicide or had an accident.”

Ian continued saying that of his father’s nine kids, Ghislaine was the only one who thought he had been killed!

“And I would venture to believe that she may also think that Epstein was murdered,” he said. “I do happen to think my sister does think that he was killed.”

According to his statement, Ian met Epstein only once in the 1996 meeting and described him as a “cagey character who took things from you rather than gave things back.”

Ghislaine is on trial for charges linked to grooming young girls for sex with Epstein and participating in the abuse herself. Maxwell companies about the conditions in New York City’s Metropolitan Detention Center.

“I have not had a nutritious meal in all that time,” she commented for Daily Mail. “I haven’t slept without lights on – fluorescent lights that have damaged my eyes – or been allowed to sleep without constant interruptions. I am weak. I am frail. I have no stamina. I am tired. I don’t even have shoes which fit properly. They feed me rotten food. One apple had maggots in it. I have not been allowed to exercise.”

Maxwell faces up to 70 years in prison.
