Kristin Fisher, a Fox News White House reporter, announced her departure from the network on air on Friday.
“From the employment report to my own career, this is my last live shot on my last day at Fox News, and I’ve had an amazing run,” Fisher said on Friday’s “Special Report” with Bret Baier.

According to numerous sources, Fisher, who has covered the White House for Fox since 2019, will join CNN as a space correspondent.
“I began working on the weekend shift six years ago. I made it all the way to the White House, which has been on my career bucket list since I was a small child. But I’ve just remembered there are a few more items on the list that I’d like to cross off,” Fisher said on “Special Report” on Friday.
“So, before I go, I’d like to thank Fox for entrusting me with this beat and for providing me with so many opportunities,” she added. “And, Bret, working with you, the whole White House staff, and everyone on the ‘Special Report’ team has been an utter pleasure.”
