FLASH: Fur Flies Over Vaccines On “The View”

On Friday, co-hosts Meghan McCain and Joy Behar squabbled about the COVID-19 vaccine recommendations on ABC’s “The View.”
McCain brought up the topic of civil liberties during a report on the recent CDC guidance on masks for vaccinated citizens, warning her co-hosts of the “slippery slope” if the US begins to “mandate that you get this vaccine.” Some of the liberal cohosts agreed that Americans should be required to provide evidence of vaccination before accessing such institutions and businesses.

Behar believes that evidence of vaccination should be needed. “If I’m going to a theatre, a restaurant, or a museum, I want to be able to see everything.”
Joy just said out loud the silent part – this is full-fledged communism. “Could I please see your papers?” – Over a virus with a survival rate of 99.8% or higher. And why should you care if anyone else has a vaccine if you have one?
Also, I used to believe that “IDs” were “racist.” Liberals want minorities to receive vaccination identification cards, but what about voter identification? Why aren’t the Republicans hammering this point home in the media?
Meghan McCain, on the other hand, was having none of it.
“Just from a legal perspective, there are a lot of civil rights questions here if the government is going to mandate that you have this vaccination,” she said. “I know, that’s a very, very big deal.”
CDC EASES MASK GUIDELINES: The CDC has amended its guidance for fully vaccinated Americans, no longer recommending masks indoors or outdoors — the co-hosts react and discuss if they’re comfortable unmasking. https://t.co/IbylKmCFIT pic.twitter.com/efhebAosw2
